HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL FUNDRAISER

We held our final fundraiser March 28, 2025, supporting A Lot of Good's Inc. "There is Hope Project ".  Thank you to those that attended and supported this wonderful cause.

Guests enjoyed the amazing dinner and fun activities (live and silent auctions, raffle, wheel of fortune, cash for a cause, deck of cards game and so much more), and through their generosity, made a real difference in the project's families.

Megan’s Wings was the Uplanders Club Charitable Organization’s Charity-Of-Choice for 2023-2024. Megan's Wings is a wonderful nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the care and quality of life for children with cancer.  They do this by providing financial and emotional support to low and moderate-income families who need to take off work to support their children’s treatments and can't pay the bills.  They believe no family should have to choose between paying the rent or putting gas in the car to get their child to cancer treatments.

Kim and Dave Savage, founders of Megan's Wings, had a very emotional journey as their daughter Megan was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia at the tender age of 6 years old.  Over a six-year period they fought to help cure Megan of her cancer by traveling to many specialists around the country.  Megan succumbed to cancer on April 2, 2003, at the age of 9 years old.

Kim and Dave established Megan’s Wings two years later in 2005 to help other families fight for their children’s lives and have been supporting children with cancer and their families ever since. 

We had several events in 2023-2024 such as The Luau, dine-outs, sales and many others, to raise funds to support this great charity, culminating in the highly successful “Wings of Hope” Gala.  In total we raised $68,000.
